ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION
Our inclusive and holistic approach to education is a key element to supporting the success, growth and happiness to our students and hold their needs paramount to the work we deliver.
We exist to support mainstream provisions and offer an alternative for students that may have a range of needs. Having a wide range of in-house professionals, means SCNE are well equipped to support every child.
ADULT WITH DISABILITIES DAY SERVICE
We provide opportunities for adults with disabilities to join us on our farm in Consett so they can get up close and personal with our animals. Our sessions show how we look after the animals, and the adults get to learn new skills and make new furry friends.

Our sessions are every Wednesday and Friday, from 10AM to 2PM. They cost from £50.

HOME EDUCATION PROVISION
We understand some families elect to homeschool their children. We also appreciate that families do this at a cost to themselves.
Families and children can benefit from wraparound alternative education provision. Especially when it's based on individual needs, qualifications, and personal circumstances.
We have a farming centre in Consett where our students will benefit from working with our animals as well as contributing to their academic studies.
We also have our dedicated education facility based in Cowgate where we can focus on core subjects.
